Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is one of the best known plastics based on a type of acrylic. The synthetically produced material is mostly known in everyday use under the names “acrylic glass” or the brand name “Plexiglas®”.
PMMA is a transparent, glass-like plastic that is based on an amorphous (disordered) structure.

The adaptability of acrylic glass to the respective applications is one of the advantages of using this material. Whether you require a crystal-clear, transparent appearance or light-diffusing properties (diffuse, opal required), we can achieve them with PMMA. It also has mechanical properties making it robust and durable
